Both Dr. Schrock and Dr. Raber recently received advance training in visual therapy to help children who have complex vision disorders affecting their every day life or their school performance.

Dr. Rita Schrock is a native of Hartville, Ohio.  She graduated from Central Christian School in Kidron, and earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Goshen College in Indiana. She then attended The Ohio State University College of Optometry, where she received her doctorate in optometry in 1993, graduating with honors. Dr. Schrock practiced in Orrville for 6 years, and has worked in and around Wayne County since then. She volunteers at local schools, doing vision screenings along with educational presentations. She enjoys music and performs in piano and choir concerts. Dr Schrock resides in Kidron with her husband Von and their four children.

Drs. Raber and Schrock share professional interest in vision as it relates to learning. Recently they pursued advanced training in behavioral and binocular vision, visual perception and visual problems secondary to traumatic brain injury. The office now provides examinations and treatment programs related to these areas. Feel free to contact us with questions, or make an appointment for a complete visual performance evaluation.
